We had a great dining experience. We've been there twice so far and I know this new place will be a staple in our dining out options here on the north shore. The food was exceptional. There are options for vegetarians and GF diners too. It's very creative and delicious! The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I felt like they truly cared about our experience by coming by our table and talking with us about it.

Super friendly staff, Drinks, and food were amazing. Short rib was cooked perfect, with so much flavor. Wedge salad was very good. Loved the mushroom toast and the gnocchi dish. So happy to have a restaurant of this quality and vibe in the neighborhood. This will be our new go-to spot.

Fantastic flavors and beautiful creativity! Get the Truffula Tree while you can! Chile lime under the perfectly cooked Scottish salmon, zucchini and black rice is brilliant and bright. Carrot cake is complex, yet sublime. Go to Brown Square Bistro for culinary adventure in a modern setting.

Enjoyed our visit to the Brown Square Bistro this past weekend. It is a great addition to downtown Ipswich! We sat at the bar and enjoyed fantastic beef empanadas and a couple of beers. Great atmosphere and service... we will be back!

I went with a friend to check it out. We shared the Angel Eggs (shown in photo), Grilled Baby Romaine and the Bolognese, all delicious and beautifully presented...my favorite that night was the Bolognese. The table next to us had the Lobster Bisque and I think I will try that next time. The severs were very attentive and personable, and my Brown Square rye cocktail was perfectly balanced!
